Legendary Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath said that Jasprit Bumrah, India’s best fast bowler, could benefit from his long break due to injury. This break might give Bumrah a chance to rest and come back stronger for the 2023 ICC World Cup.
Bumrah needed almost a year to heal from a fracture in his lower back. His most recent game for India was in September 2022 against Australia in a T20I match in Hyderabad.
