At a press conference, Sanjay Bharadwaj and Naveen Jindal have accused Rohan Jaitley, the president of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), of running the organization like his own personal domain. Bharadwaj specifically mentioned the appointment of a new ombudsman to block a sexual harassment complaint and the usurping of Siddharth Sahib Singh Verma’s right as the secretary as examples. He argued that it is the general body that appoints the ombudsman and not the president, and accused Jaitley of calling for a special general body to ratify the name of the ombudsman. On the same day, Verma went to the Delhi High Court with a petition to challenge the holding of the special general meeting and to request the appointment of an administrator to manage the body. Gautam Dutta, the former DDCA counsel, stated that Jaitley is attempting to prevent proceedings against himself.
