Andre Fletcher taken to hospital after blow to neck in BPL match

Sikandar Raza supplanted Andre Fletcher as a blackout sub after the West Indies player was struck on his neck by a short ball from Rejaur Rahman Raja during Khulna Tigers’ Bangladesh Premier League match against Chattogram Challengers at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Monday (January 24).

Fletcher was batting on 12 when the principal wad of the seventh over from Raja skiped clumsily and he missed attempting to pull. The ball missed the base piece of the cap’s grille and hit him on his neck. He was down on the ground in torment and must be offed the field in a cot.
