The Wanderers will have the New Year’s Test against India starting on January 3, Cricket South Africa affirmed on Monday (December 6) while reporting the reexamined plan. Cape Town has customarily facilitated the new year’s Test in the South African summer, the Test was designated to Johannesburg because of calculated issues.
The visit will the opening shot with the Boxing Day Test that is set to remain at SuperSport Park in Centurion with Cape Town facilitating the third and last Test starting on January 11.

Following the finish of the Test series, which will shape area of the planet Test Championship, the two groups will move to Paarl to play two ODIs on January 19 and 21. The visit will then, at that point, close with the last ODI back in Cape Town.
As chosen before, the four-match T20I series will be played later since the visit got postponed because of the flare-up of the most recent Covid-19 variation, Omicron.
