Bangladesh set to only play ODIs on their tour of Ireland

A Bangladesh Cricket Board official said on Friday that they have chosen to play just three ODIs during the impending visit through Ireland because of other global responsibilities.

Bangladesh were relied upon to play three ODIs and four T20Is against Ireland in May 2020 however the series got deferred because of crown pandemic.

BCB and Cricket Ireland rescheduled their installation and as indicated by the draft iterinary arranged and settled upon by the two sheets, Bangladesh are relied upon to highlight just in three ODIs while they are relied upon to play the four T20Is during some accessible space in 2023.

“We have chosen to play just ODI against Ireland in May while we will play the four T20Is in some appropriate time in 2023,” a BCB official confirmed.

“We have home series against Sri Lanka before the Ireland visit while we are relied upon to visit West Indies subsequent to finishing our stretch in Ireland thus we have chosen to remove the T20’s from the Ireland visit in May 2022,” he added.

According to World Test series second cycle, Sri Lanka is planned to play two Test matches against Bangladesh at their own sanctum in May 2020.

Bangladesh will travel to Ireland subsequent to finishing their home series against Sri Lanka that is booked to begin from May 29.
