WI and Pakistan both needed to persevere through another baffling day as the fourth and last T20I was cleaned out after three overs in Guyana. Pakistan dominated the four-game series 1-0, with that single outcome coming in the second T20I while the other three matches were cleaned out.
Cricket West Indies and Pakistan Cricket Board commonly consented to cut one match from the initially booked five-match series after the former West Indies-Australia ODI series was affected by COVID-19. The four games would have been urgent for the two sides as they develop towards the T20 World Cup in the not so distant future.
On the day, West Indies were placed in to bat with downpour danger posing a potential threat. Andre Fletcher crushed 14 in the opening over Mohammad Hafeez while Chris Gayle took 12 in the following against Mohammad Wasim Jr. Hasan Ali pulled this back by parting with four runs in the third over before downpour played spoilsport.
In the opening T20I, just nine overs were conceivable while in the second, Pakistan won the challenge by seven pursues a total game. The third T20I saw play for only eight balls and constrained the sides to leave baffled having missed pivotal quality match time.
